Introduction to the Enrollment Policy for the Master of Public
Administration (MPA) in 2025
China Pharmaceutical University is a directly affiliated university of the Ministry of Education, a national "211 Project" and a national "Double First Class" construction university. It is one of the first higher education institutions in China with the authority to confer doctoral and master's degrees, and is a multi-disciplinary, research-oriented university with a focus on pharmacy.
The International Pharmaceutical Business School currently has two academic degree doctoral authorization points in Social and Management Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Economics, three academic degree master's authorization points in Social and Management Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Economics, and Public Administration, and two professional degree master's authorization points in Pharmacy (Management Pharmacy, Bioeconomics) and Public Administration (MPA). There are currently over 20 full-time and part-time doctoral supervisors and over 40 master's supervisors.
The college has outstanding research strength, with 8 high-level research teams and 7 characteristic research platforms. We have undertaken a large number of research projects commissioned by government departments such as the National Natural Science and Social Science Foundation, the National Health Commission, the National Pharmaceutical Insurance Administration, the National Pharmaceutical Products Administration, and well-known pharmaceutical companies. The research achievements of the college teachers have not only had an important influence in the academic community, but also played an important role as a think tank for the formulation of national health and drug policies.
The graduate education of the college is developing rapidly, with 154 doctoral students and 730 master's students currently enrolled. For many years, the college has relied on the characteristics and advantages of the school's pharmacy, based on the pharmaceutical industry, adapted to the development needs of the national health and wellness industry, and extensively communicated and cooperated with government departments and pharmaceutical enterprises, delivering a large number of applied, composite, and international high-quality talents with knowledge foundations in pharmacy, economics, management, law, and other disciplines to society. It has become a cradle for cultivating and nurturing advanced pharmaceutical management talents.

2. Application requirements
1） Citizens of the People's Republic of China.
2） Support the leadership of the CPC, have a good moral character, and abide by
discipline and law.
3）The physical health condition meets the physical examination requirements
stipulated by the country and our school.
4）Individuals with at least 3 years of work experience after graduating with a bachelor's degree; Individuals who have obtained a nationally recognized diploma from a vocational college or a bachelor's degree, meet the relevant academic requirements of our university, achieve the same level of academic qualifications as a bachelor's degree graduate, and have more than 5 years of work experience; Or individuals who have obtained a master's or doctoral degree or have more than 2 years of work experience.
3. Exam arrangement
1） Initial Examination (National Unified Examination)
National unified examination subjects:
199 Comprehensive management skills (200 points); 204 English (二) (100 points).
Exam outline: The national unified subject proposition work is organized by the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education, and the exam outline is compiled by the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education.
2） Interview (organized by the school and college)
Interview content:
Including assessments of ideological and political qualities and moral character, comprehensive quality and ability, English application ability, professional knowledge, and basic scientific research skills. According to the regulations of the graduate school of the school.

4. Registration Method
1.Exam registration
1） Time: Pre registration, online registration, and preliminary exam time for postgraduate entrance examination, subject to the announcement of the Ministry of Education.

3） Choose the "National Unified Examination" as the examination method and apply for the department of "International Pharmaceutical Business School"; Application major: "125200 (Professional Degree) Public Administration".
4） During the registration period, the educational background (student status) information of candidates will be verified online, and candidates can view the verification results online. Candidates can also log in to the "China Higher Education Student Information
Network" before or during the registration period to check their educational background (student status) information.
2. Online confirmation
1） All candidates should verify and confirm their online registration information within the specified time, and the online confirmation time will be determined and announced by Jiangsu Provincial Education Examination Institute.
2） When candidates confirm online, they should actively cooperate with the application site and submit relevant supplementary materials according to the verification requirements.
3）All candidates should carefully check and confirm their online registration information. After the registration information is confirmed by the candidate, it will not be modified. Any consequences caused by the candidate's incorrect filling will be borne by themselves.
4） Candidates should cooperate with the collection of their own electronic information such as images in accordance with regulations.
5） When registering, candidates must sign the "Integrity Examination Commitment Letter" and comply with relevant agreements and requirements.
If the registration information provided by the candidate does not meet the application requirements, the exam shall not be allowed.
5. Admission method
Based on the number of enrollment plans for the major, the admission method for the second round of interviews, and the scores of the candidates in the initial and second round of interviews, a comprehensive assessment of the candidates' ideological and political performance, abilities, work experience, and achievements will be conducted to select the best candidates for admission.
6. Course learning and degree awarding
Our Master of Public Administration (MPA) program is a full-time program with a duration of three years.
The duration of centralized courses on campus is one academic year, and the duration of professional practice is one year.
Graduate students who pass the course assessment and obtain the required credits, pass the professional practice assessment, complete the thesis work and pass the thesis defense according to the requirements of the training plan can obtain a master's degree certificate. After being reviewed and approved by the university's degree evaluation committee, they will be awarded a master's degree and receive a master's degree certificate (dual certificate of academic degree and degree).
