Master of Public and Administration(MPA)
The Master of Public Administration (MPA) program at China Pharmaceutical University aims to effectively implement the university's educational guiding principle of not being solely focused on medicine, but rather on medicine, and acting for medicine, and to cultivate high-level public management professionals with pharmaceutical characteristics who are innovative, versatile, international and applied for government departments and non-governmental public institutions. China Pharmaceutical University officially obtained the authorization point for the professional degree of Public Administration (MPA) in May 2014, which is a first-level discipline master's degree point of the International School of Medicine and Business. At present, the master's program in this discipline has a total of 41 full-time teachers and 20 part-time teachers. Among the full-time teachers, there are 9 professors and 16 associate professors. The teaching staff is relatively strong.
The MPA training mode of China Pharmaceutical University attaches equal importance to classroom teaching and management practice. It adopts teaching methods such as case-based, discussion-based, simulation-based and lecture-based approaches, emphasizing the teaching of public management practice and focusing on the cultivation of the ability to solve practical work problems. The classroom teaching courses for the postgraduate students of Public Administration at China Pharmaceutical University consist of 10 core courses, 4 compulsory courses in the professional direction, and 5 elective courses in the professional direction.
