On April 21st, the finals of the 8th China Graduate Public Management Case Competition successfully concluded in Beijing. The Emergency Knight Team guided by Associate Professor Xu Huaifu from the MPA Center of the International Pharmaceutical Business School and the Patient Voice Team guided by Associate Professor Dong Tiantian stood out among 260 universities and 2597 teams in China and won the Excellence Award.
This competition is sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Degree and Graduate Education, the Youth Science and Technology Center of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, co-sponsored by the National Steering Committee for Postgraduate
Education in Public Management, and undertaken by the School of Public Policy and Management of the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It aims to improve the ability of MPA students to use relevant theories and methods to solve practical problems in public management through social research, case writing and analysis, on-site debate and other ways.
Since the announcement of registration for the competition, the International Pharmaceutical Business School has actively organized teachers and students to register and participate. The case works of "New Forces for Urban Safety Escort - Emergency Knights" guided by Associate Professor Xu Huaifu (team student members: Wang Minqian, Wang Wanting, Li Huipeng, Zhang Yao, Pan Guangqiang) and "Breaking the Drug Dilemma with the Power of Various Methods: The Ten Year Journey of Lymphatic Tumor Home to Promote Medication Accessibility" guided by Associate Professor Dong Tiantian (team student members: Jiao Zufang, Cheng Hao, Zhang Qian, Chen Kequan, Zhang Xudong) have successfully passed the text check and two rounds of expert selection, and won the Excellent Award in the competition.
Throughout its history, the International Pharmaceutical Business School has attached great importance to graduate education and training, continuously improving the quality of public management discipline construction, and integrating case teaching into graduate course teaching. In the next stage, the International Pharmaceutical Business School will further strengthen graduate education and cultivate high-level public management talents with pharmaceutical characteristics that integrate innovation, application, complexity, and internationalization.
