This case raises the issue of using medicine to supplement drug in public hospitals in Jiangsu Province, highlighting the necessity of medical price reform. Through the four reductions and one increase and the establishment of a price adjustment mechanism, the long-standing phenomenon of using medicine to supplement medicine can be ended, and further reforms can be deepened, measures can be improved, and modern management mechanisms for public hospitals can be established. Finally, this case raise some recommendations for the next stage of new medical reform from several aspects such as the deepening reform measures of price reform and the establishment of modern hospital management system.
