Notice of the 16th China Pharmaceutical Economics, Management and Law Graduate Forum and Health Industry Development Research Forum

The 16th China Pharmaceutical Economics, Management and Law Graduate Forum and the Series of Forums on Health Industry Development Research, hosted by the International School of Pharmaceutical Business of China Pharmaceutical University, will be held on November 29, 2020. Due to the pandemic, this conference is divided into A main venue and sub-venues. The main venue is Longpan (A+B) Hall on the second floor of Nanjing Jingfeng Marriott Hotel, and the sub-venue is China Pharmaceutical University. The opening ceremony of the forum, expert reports, and the Full Committee Meeting of the Pharmaceutical Economics Professional Committee of Jiangsu Pharmaceutical Association as well as the Seminar on Medical Insurance Value Purchase and Rational Drug Use were held at the main venue. Among them, the opening ceremony of the forum and expert reports were broadcast live in the 1,000-person auditorium of Jiangning Campus of China Pharmaceutical University. The exchange of award-winning papers by postgraduate students and expert comments were held in the 111 Lecture Hall of the Economics, Management and Literature Building, Jiangning Campus of China Pharmaceutical University, a sub-venue.

The theme of this forum is Guarding Health: The Pharmaceutical Industry in the Context of the Pandemic. The outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia in 2020 has brought huge challenges to the global public health governance capacity. Medical care and health have become the key topics of concern and discussion for all countries. To jointly explore how China's medical and health industry should respond and develop under the current epidemic situation, the forum will invite experts from health decision-making departments, research institutions, the pharmaceutical industry, as well as postgraduate students from various universities to share and exchange academic knowledge, striving to create a national academic exchange platform for postgraduate students from universities.
