On December 5th, 2020, the Jiangsu Province Graduate Public Administration Case Analysis Competition was held at the Xianlin Campus of Nanjing Normal University. This competition is hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial Management Graduate Education Guidance Committee and organized by Nanjing Normal University. Professor Yang Hongshan, Deputy Secretary-General of the National MPA Education Guidance Committee, and Professor Wu Jianhua, Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Management Education Guidance Committee, delivered speeches at the conference. The Public administration team of the International School of Medicine and Business participated in this competition.

This case analysis competition, centered on the theme of Rooted in China's Practice, Contributing to Prosperity, Strength, Beauty and Quality, attracted over 100 teams from universities in Jiangsu Province such as Nanjing University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Hohai University, Soochow University and Jiangsu Normal University. Eventually, 44 teams made it to the finals, and two teams from our university's International School of Medicine and Business successfully made it to the competition. Among them, the Jingye Jiqun team guided by Associate Professor Tang Wenxi wrote Ending the Tragedy of 'Compensating for Medical Expenses with Medicine', The cases Promoting Breakthroughs in Modern Management Mechanisms of Public Hospitals in Jiangsu through Price Reform and How to Safeguard the 'Health' of All Citizens in the Face of the Epidemic - Analysis of Wuhan's Emergency Medical System After the Community Outbreak of COVID-19 written by the Green Wings team under the guidance of Associate Professor Wu Fang both won the third prize.

The contestants from our school, through their energetic and lively exchanges and presentations, provided feasible suggestions for the modernization of the local government's governance system and governance capacity, demonstrating the patriotic sentiments and social responsibility of contemporary students majoring in public administration.
